LeCoultre & Co. , Swiss, for the Chinese market. Enamel by Rosselet, circa 1900. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl set, keyless minute repeating, center seconds watch.

C. Four body "Empire" with split pearl set bezels, diamond- cut band, the back with a bunch of flowers painted on an enamel pannel. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and seconds rings, sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 18?, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 26 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the movement below one of the hammers. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
