?Perpetual Calendar, Minute Repeater? LeCoultre & Co., Le Sentier & Geneve, No. 5800. Made circa 1890. Very fine and rare, large, minuterepeating, astronomic, 18K pink gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, lunar calendar and chronograph.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, concentric fifths of a seconds divisions and calibrated 0-300, subsidiary dials for the months and leap-year cycle, days of the week, date, seconds with aperture for the moon phases, lunar calendar at the edge. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. 20???, rhodium-plated, 31 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Movement signed under one hammer. Diam. 58.5 mm.
