D. on one side, anthracite-colored "guilloché" solid silver with applied white gold dart indexes and Arabic numerals on a plain reserve, auxiliary seconds dial. "Dauphine" white gold hands. On the other side, "guilloché" copper-colored dial with applied white gold dart indexes and tritium-coated Arabic numerals, off-centered dial for the second time zone in 24 hours with painted Arabic numerals and dot indexes. "Lozenge" tritium-coatedwhite gold hands. By means of a pusher on the band, the hours may be forwarded independently from the other dial. M. Cal. 854, copper colored, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, 21 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, 5 adjustments, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 26 x 42 mm.

Conceived and created respectively by the master watchmakers Roger Guignard and Gabriel Locatelli, the newest Duoface indicates, on two opposite dials, the time of two time zones using a unique movement patented by Jaeger LeCoultre. The number of components is reduced to a minimum, which reduces the play of the gears and the loss of energy.
