Notes

The Master Tourbillon's uncomplicated calendar is very ingenious. In order that the date hand doesn?t obstruct the tourbillon for several days per month, the date hand makes a quick transit performed in several "jumps" from the 15th to the 16th of each month. The date hand jumps almost a quarter way around the dial, a large move that happens in the course of one day and is facilitated by a small rack of fine teeth that engage once per month to make the date transition. This very fast transition takes place between midnight and 04:00 in the morning of the 16th.
