Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum wristwatch with visible oneminute tourbillon regulator, independently adjustable hour hand for use as a secondtime- zone , 24-hour indication, patented semi-instantaneous special date function, palladium dial and a platinum Jaeger-LeCoultre deployant clasp. Accompanied by the Certificate of Origin and instruction booklet.

Palladium with applied white gold dart indexes and Arabic numerals, luminous dots, subsidiary 24 hour dial, outermost date graduation, the date hand jumping from 15-16 so as not to obscure the tourbillon, aperture for the visible one-minute tourbillon regulator at 6, carrying the 3-spoke blued steel seconds hand, independently adjustable hour hand. Polished and frosted white gold alpha hands. M. Cal. 978, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 33 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator, titanium bridge, 3 equidistant arm titanium carriage, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, 22K gold rotor decorated with relief engraving. Notes

The Master Tourbillon's calendar is very ingenious. In order that the date hand doesn?t obstruct the tourbillon for several days per month, the date hand makes a quick transit performed in several "jumps" from the 15th to the 16th of each month. The date hand jumps almost a quarter way around the dial, a large move that happens in the course of one day and is facilitated by a small rack of fine teeth that engage once per month to make the date transition. This very rapid transition takes place between midnight and 04:00 in the morning on the 16th.
