Desk Compendium Jaeger LeCoultre, Suisse, No. 071680, Patent No. 365.884. Made circa 1930. Very fine and rare, chrome and leather desk compendium with 8-day clock, triple date calendar, alarm, thermometer and barometer.

Two-body, leather-covered with folding cover forming the stand, two chromed hinged cases for the clock and barometer, telescopic winding crown with co-axial button for alarm setting, the thermometer between on a black plate with white painted scale. D. Cream painted with luminous Arabic numerals, inner minute track, apertures for the days of the week, the date and months. Luminous blued steel skeleton hands. Barometer: Cream painted with black barometric scale. Blued steel arrow hand and arrow pointer. M. Cal. 207, 50 mm., nickel, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, alarm sounding on a single gong. Dial signed, case numbered. Dim. 15.8 x 12.3 x 3.1 cm.
