Jaeger-LeCoultre, Songbird Mantel Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre. Made circa 1955. Fine reverse engraved glass and gilt brass, 8-day going mantel clock.
C. Rectangular gilt-mirrored glass, hand reverse engraved by "ATV" with a bird on a leafy branch, brushed and polished gilt brass base, domed crystal over the dial. D. Applied brushed gilt brass chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, brushed gilt center disc. Gilt brass skeleton hands. M. Cal. 201, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 15.3 x 25 x 3.8 cm.
