Jaeger-leCoultre Bird?s Eye Satinwood Jaeger-LeCoultre, No. 287. Made circa 1950. Fine and unusual, bird?s eye satinwood, 8-day going mantel clock.
C. Rectangular with rounded sides, gilt brass fluted pillasters, brushed brass back with 6 screws. D. Bird?s eye satinwood, applied gilt brass chapter ring with round silvered and gilt hour indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals. Pierced gilt brass hands. M. 43 mm., rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial applied with the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo. Dim. 17.7 x 25 x 7.5 cm.
