Cartier Double Face Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre for Cartier, "Jubilé", No. 380/372. Made circa 1960. Very fine and very rare, gilt brass and lacquered, 8-day going desk clock with two dials.
C. Square with waisted sides, cylindrical corner pillars, sides with black lacquered panels, glazed both sides, winding crown in the base. D. On both sides, beige painted with applied gilt brass baton hour indexes. Gilt brass circle and baton hands. M. Rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dials signed. Dim. 15.8 x 15.8 x 5 cm.
