LeCoultre & Co. ? Minute Repeating Watch with Belgian Noble Arms LeCoultre & Co., retailed by Charles Grottendieck, Bruxelles, No. 76469. Made circa 1890. Very fine, heavy, minute-repeating, 18K gold, half-hunting cased, keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

C. Four-body, bassine, polished, the front cover with royal blue champleve enamel radial Roman numerals, glazed aperture, flat band, the back cover engraved with a Belgian noble coat of arms. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with unusual radial black Arabic numerals with red 12, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XVI hands. M. 19???, matte gilt, 29 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed by the retailer, movement signed LeCoultre & Co. under the hour hammer. Diam. 53 mm.
