Jaeger-LeCoultre World Time Desk Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre. Made circa 1955. Fine and rare, 8-day going, world-time desk clock with calendar.
C. Circular, brushed and polished gilt brass, inclined base, convex glass, lever for quick date adjustment. D. Inclined brushed copper-colored with painted baton indexes and applied faceted gilt quarter-hour indexes, disc for the 24-hours, outer rotating dial with the names of 36 world cities and countries. Gilt dauphine hands. M. Cal. 228, 43 mm., nickel, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed.
