C. Square, brushed, engraved square pattern on an angled base, lever for quick date adjustment. D. Applied brushed chapter ring with engraved hour indexes, aperture for the date. Gilt dauphine hands. M. Cal. 228, 43 mm., nickel, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and case signed Jaeger-LeCoultre ?Air Congo?, case signed Hermès. Dim. 11.5 cm square. Property of a French Collector
