Jaeger-LeCoultre Zodiac Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre, Swiss, Ref. 258. Made circa 1960. A fine and very rare brass and glass 8-day going desk clock decorated with zodiac signs.
C. Crescent-shaped brass base mounted on a circular base holding two convex glass plates held by a brass surround. The back glass plate decorated with painted zodiac signs. D. The front transparent glass plate with terrestrial pattern and painted black and gold stars for the hour indexes. Gilt Breguet hands. M. Baguette, skeletonized, train running in straight line in small two bar frame, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Case indistinctly signed. Dim. 23 x 20 cm. Property of a French Collector
