Jaeger-Lecoultre For Hermès Pendulette Sabord Jaeger-LeCoultre, "Pendulette Sabord", retailed by Hermès. Made circa 1940. Fine and unusual, copper-colored gilt-brass 8-day going desk clock.
C. Copper-colored gilt brass case, porthole bezel with screw-down nut and hinged to allow access for winding and hand-setting, hinged strut for desk use. D. Brushed copper-colored gilt with black painted radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Black Breguet hands. M. 19???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, large going barrel, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Jaeger-LeCoultre & Hermès. Diam. 16.5 cm. Property of a French Collector
