Jaeger-LeCoultre for Dunhill - Gold Pocket Compendium Jaeger-LeCoultre, ?Vanity?, movement No. 548705, retailed by Alfred Dunhill, the case by Matteo Cellini ?Bando?, with London hallmarks for 1949-1950. Fine and very rare, 9K gold pocket compendium with cigarette case, lighter, telescopic pencil, penknife, concealed ivory writing tablet, drill, stamp container, ruler and watch.
C. Seven-body, rectangular, engine-turned with a checkered pattern, the upper edge engraved with an inch ruler scale, the reverse edge with a millimeter scale, hinged cover for the cigarette case with ivory writing tablet concealed in a further hinged cover, lighter and tools with hinged covers, the watch in a further hinged compartment with hinged and sprung stamp compartment behind. D. Brushed gold with painted baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, inner minute track. Blued steel epee hands. M. 6???, gilt, tonneau, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, the case signed Dunhill, London, with punch mark AD, also signed ?Bando? on the inner lid. im. 124 x 79 x 13 mm.
