JAEGER CHRONOGRAPH Jaeger-LeCoultre, No. 617277. Made in the 1950s. Fine, stainless steel gentleman?s wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.
C. Two-body, polished, flat bezel, snap-on case back, lapidated lugs. D. Matte silver with silver painted baton indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 45-minute register, inner scale for minutes/1/5th second scale, outer tachometer graduation in blue, inner red telemeter scale. Blued steel feuille hands. M. Cal. 285, Rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, bimetallic balance, shock-absorber, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
