JAEGER-LECOULTRE DRESS WATCH WITH BLACK SECTOR DIAL Jaeger-LeCoultre, retailed by Golay Fils & Stahl, Genève, movement No. 67821, case No. 34855. Made circa 1940. Fine, rare and very elegant, 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch with black sector dial.
C. Three-body, polished, inclined and stepped bezel, flat band, snap-on back, rectangular bow. D. Black with bold painted gold sector indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold lozenge hands. M. 17???, rhodium-plated, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed, dial also signed by the retailer. DIAM. 47 mm.
