Produced in a limited edition of 500 examples in 2000.Very fine and rare, rectangular, reversible, double-face, astronomic, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar and moon phases and an 18K pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.

C .five-body, solid, polished, reeded bezel, outer case back engraved: "Quantième Perpétuel"", sapphire crystals. D. on one side, "guilloché" silver with painted Arabic numerals on a plain outer reserve, at 1 a "night and day" aperture with the sun or the stars to symbolize the 24 hours, at 6 the auxiliary seconds dial and leap year indication. "Epée" blued steel hands. On the other side, "guilloché" silver with off-centered dials for the days of the week and for the months, at 12 the retrogradsectors for the days of the month and the age of the moon, below, aperture for the moon phases. "Alpha" blued steel hands. M. Cal. 855, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 39 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 26 x 42 mm.
