Eugene Lecoultre, Geneve, No. 1445, circa 1870. Very fine and rare early 18K gold hunting cased, astronomical, keyless minute repeating watch with fly back perpetual calendar, moon phases and chronograph.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, back and cover engraved with monograms. Hinged glazed cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds, half-moon date sector for the fly back calendar, apertures for clays of the week, months and moon phase volvelles. Blued-steel "fleurs de lys " hands. M. 20"' , gilt brass, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work and push piece in the band. Signed on the movement beneath the dial. Diam. 57 mm.
