Notes

Chronometre Geomatic, Ecole Professionnelle de la Vallée de Joux During the period of production of the Geomatic (1961-1970), a number of watches (movements, cases, dials and hands) are provided by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Ecole d'Horlogerie (Horological School) of the Vallée de Joux, then called Ecole Professionnelle (Professional School), so that the students can make and finish some parts. In Geneva, from the 1950's, Patek Philippe supplied some wristwatches Ref. 2509 (in yellow gold or in stainless steel case), with calibres 12-120 or 12-400. Rolex did the same with some watches Ref. 1803 and 6611, then, in the 1980's, with the Ref. 17000 (quartz). This Geomatic is also characterised by its case-back without the planisphère (world map).
