Notes

Jaeger-Lecoultre, “Geophysic, True Second”, Ref. Q 8012520
The watch if fitted with a “True Second”, the result of a truly sophisticated assembly. With this device, the central second-hand shifts by making a jump each time, which is kind of unusual for a mechanical movement, and all of this is done without interrupting the watch’s functioning. The movement is also equipped with the “Gyrolab” balance, a unique balance wheel whose non-circular configuration reduces air friction. A firm advance when it comes to the precision of the watch.
