An impressive and rare gilt-brass, manual wind eight-day going carriage clock, striking and repeating the hours on a gong with lever escapement. The case is glazed on all four sides and the top, and fitted with a repeat button. The gilt-brass dial is finely engraved with floral and foliate patterns and features blued steel fleur-de-lys hands with a central steel seconds hand.
