JAQUET DROZ GRANDE SECONDE, WHITE GOLD Jaquet Droz, "Grande Seconde," No. 4/8, movement No. 668000, Ref. J033034-62. Made in a limited edition of 8 examples in the 2000s. Fine and rare, large, self-winding, waterresistant, 18K white gold wristwatch with regulator-style dial, oversized seconds indication and an 18K white gold Jaquet Droz buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, transparent case back, rounded band and bezel, curved concave lugs, sapphire crystals. D. Silver engraved in sunburst pattern, off-center dial for the hours and minutes with painted radial Roman numerals, below a large subsidiary dial for the seconds with painted seconds track and 10-seconds Arabic markers. Blued steel alpha hands. M. Cal. 2663.4, rhodiumplated, fausses cotes decoration, 30 jewels, straightline lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring, twin barrels. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 43 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
