C. Double body, Directoire, the fixed bezel, with white champleve enamelled decoration, the back of blue flinque enamel centred with paillonne decoration in a rosette pattern. Hinged gilt-brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold pierced hands. M. Gilt brass, drawn from the Lepine caliber with free standing barrel, the bridges engraved with foliage, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Numbered on the cuvette. Diam. 58 mm.

Although there is no centre-seconds hand, by its style, the decoration of the case, the shape of the hands and the calibre used for the movement, this watch is very similar to those made at the same period by JaqueeDroz for the Chinese Market and was certainly produced in Switzerland by the workshop of this celebrated maker.
