Two-body, Louis XVI, the bezel chased and engraved with flowers and scrolls and set with rose-cut diamonds in silver, the pendant set with a large rose-cut diamond, the back with a painted on enamel scene depicting country lovers in a romantic landscape, chased and engraved varicolored gold border decorated with putti, flowers, doves and scrolls. Convex white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals. Rose-cut diamond-set hands. 35 mm., matte gilt, pentagonal baluster pillars, fuse and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three arm balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental-type cock with endstone, silvered regulation dial.
