Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 56.5 mm. This watch is illustrated in The Jurgensen Dynasty by John Knudsen p. 286. There are 3 known examples of this tourbillon made. The preceeding number 14167, was made and shown at the PARIS UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION in 1889. On the copy of the invoice supplied by the customer, the number of this watch 14168, was hand written and one can assume that both watches were made to exactly the same specification and most probably was also regulated by the famous A. PELLATION. This watch is illustrated in Le Tourbillon by Reinhard Meis, p. 197.
