JULES JURGENSEN MINUTE-REPEATER WITH INDEPENDANT CENTER-SECONDS YELLOW GOLD Jules Jurgensen, Copenhagen No. 5409, Swiss, circa 1847. Very fine 18k yellow gold minute-repeating key-wound centre seconds watch.

Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, engine turned front and back, Gold cuvette, reeded band. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. 43mm. nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.
