JULES JURGENSEN HUNTING CASED POCKET WATCH YELLOW GOLD Jules Jürgensen, Swiss, No. 12977. Made circa 1880. Very fine 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with Jûrgensen's patent bow hand setting, patented in 1867.

Three-body, bassine, polished, Jürgensen's patented bow hand setting, gold hinged cuvette, the front and back covers engine-turned White enamel with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. 14', 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, large index regulator with engraved scale on the center bridge.
