Cigarette box with watch and music; gilded brass and enamel

Gilded brass and enamel, key-winding, rectangular-shaped, cigarette box with a watch built-in the cover and a music inside the base (signed Reuge, Sainte-Croix; later addition).
Hinged three-part cabinet with, on the cover, a white enamelled radiating decoration, and inside compartments for cigarettes, matches and a match-scraper. The cabinet stamped with the initials “A R”, probably the master hallmark of André Roberge, Paris, orfèvre à façon et fabricant de doré, received on February 26, 1910 (established 4, rue de l’Entrepôt, and, 15, rue de Montmorency; cancelled on January 14, 1924).
The base engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut) with the date “4 août 1919” (August 4, 1919).
Gold colour dial with radial Roman numerals; blued steel hands.
Movement (10’’’ x 15’’’), rectangular-shaped, gilded brass, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator. Please note that this movement is very seriously damaged by rust!
The small musical mechanism dating from the 1980s is added, mounted with two screws; two holes were additionally made in the cabinet for winding and triggering the music.
