Notes

Interestingly the log book details the affectation of this marine chronometer to the French Submarine Sirene, launched in 1969. During a routine service in October 1972, the Submarine becomes submerged and it will take more than 2 years to re-launch it as all the electronics (including this chronometer) were submerged. It was then re-assigned in 1975 to another submarine "Le Flore" and another time to the submarine "Junon".
