Made to commemorate the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna in 1896. Fine and rare, silver, keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and register.

Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, the back cover with applied high-relief silvered Russian Imperial coat of arms with the bust length portraits of Nicholas and Alexandra, olive-shaped button at 1 o?clock for the split-seconds, start/ stop of the chronograph activated by depressing the crown. Hinged silver cuvette. D. White enamel, black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outermost fifths of a second chronograph divisions, Arabic five-seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register. Gilt spade hands. M. 19???, matte gilt, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and cuvette signed. DIAM. 53 mm.
