A fine and attractive, wood and gilt brass, manual wind two-day Marine Chronometer with 56-hour power reserve indicator. Three-body case, with brass handles, the glazed upper section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimbaled suspension, silvered dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and power reserve sector. Gold "spade" hands, full plate movement with baluster pillars secured by screws, fusee with chain and maintaining power, spring detent escapement, two-arm bimetallic balance with cylindrical weights and two mean time adjusting screws, free sprung helical balance-spring with terminal curves
