LACLOCHE FRERES - SILVER & GOLD ART DECO CLOCK Lacloche Frères, No. 874/1034. The case with London import marks for 1929-30. Fine and very rare, Art-Deco, lacquered silver, yellow gold and onyx-set, 8-day going table clock.
Square overlaid with ivory-colored lacquer, the sides and top with yellow gold-edged panels of black lacquer each set with three yellow gold domed studs, yellow gold-edged front with yellow gold bezel surrounded by 12 black onyx cabochons in yellow gold settings, hinged back door, square column alternating black and ivory-colored lacquer stripes and gold lines, yellow gold line mount at the base, rectangular stepped black lacquered silver base set with four large yellow gold domed studs, matte silver-gilt interior clock housing. Matte black with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals. Pierced yellow gold Art-Deco hands. 19''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed and numbered. DIM. 11.3 x 13.2 x 9 cm.
