Notes
The Leonidas Watch Factory was founded 1841 by Julien Bourquin in St Imier. 1912 Leonidas is purchased by Constant Jeanneret-Droz. One of the 3 sons of the Excelsior Park founder Jules Frédéric Jeanneret. This should therefore have been the reason that Leonidas produced quite outstanding chronograph movements. In 1964 the Brands Leonidas Watch and Ed. Heuer merge. Fondée en 1841 par Julien Bourquin à St Imier, l’usine de montres Leonidas est rachetée par Constant Jeanneret-Droz en 1912.
