LE ROY ENAMEL FLOWERS AND GOLD Le Roy, Horloger du Roi, Palais Royal, Paris, No. 7127. Made circa 1830. Fine, 18K gold and champleve enamel pocket watch with matching chatelaine and a gold and enamel ratchet key.
Four-body, the bezel decorated with red and white champlevé enamel flowers on a black enamel ground, the back cover with polychrome champlevé enamel flowers and foliage on a black enamel ground, outer border to match the bezel. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver, with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gilt breguet hands. Matte gilt, Lepine caliber, jeweled cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
