LONGINES TIR FEDERAL FRIBOURG 1934 - WITH ORIGINAL BOX & CERTIFICATE Longines, Swiss, No. 5233947. Specially made for the Tir Federal crossbow archery contest in 1934. Very fine, silver, keyless pocket watch with Breguet numerals and 24-hour dial. Accompanied by the original Longines fitted presentation box and numbered Longines certificate.

Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished and frosted, the back cover cast with the design by W. Jordan Del Hugenin SC. of a kneeling archer (William Tell) surrounded by the inscription "Tir Federal Fribourg 1934". Hinged silver cuvette engraved with the Longines Grand Prix medals. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blue painted Arabic 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. Cal. 19.21N, 18''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, cam micrometer regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
