LONGINES SPLIT SECOND CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Longines, "Rattrapante", No. 4290307. Made in the 1920s. Fine and rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with square button split-seconds chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute register, tachometer and telemeter.

Three-body, "demi-bassine", solid, polished, co-axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, split-seconds push-button on the case band at 11. White enamel with bold painted Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph divisions, outermost blue tachometer and red telemeter graduation to 100 m., sunk subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register. Blued steel Breguet hands, yellow gold chronograph hands. Cal. 19.73N, matte gilt, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
