Manzon, Serge
Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, February 6, 1930 – 1998

Serge Manzon began his career as a diamond seller and film producer. Later he designed furniture, jewellery, watches, clothing and a range of fashion accessories. He is completely self-taught in terms of acquiring his design knowledge.

In 1973, at the Basel Fair, the Longines factory presented the “Serge Manzon Collection”, comprising twenty different wristwatches in rhodium-plated silver (0.925). The watches are equipped with a Longines manual-winding movement (Cal. 410) or a self-winding movement. They are fitted with black leather stras. Three other watches are produced with a dark brown crocodile strap, a dark dial and a Longines 7102 electronic movement. These models have a cubic-shaped silver block at each corner that has a hinge function (Ref. 5014, 5015 and 5016).
