Notes

A siderograph is an instrument combining a clock and a navigation instrument which keeps a reference time equivalent to the time at 0° Greenwich longitude. It used to be quite helpful for pilots. Longines version stemmed from the one designed in cooperation with Charles A. Lindberg around 1930.
These examples were logically used by the Marine Service Hydrographique and upon decommission, the name was scratched off the dial.
