SWISS YELLOW GOLD HUNTING CASED, RETAILED BY LOSADA, LONDON Swiss, No. 4075. Made circa 1890, retailed by Losada, 281 Regent Street London. Fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, key-wound, pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted box.
Four-body, bassine, polished, band and bow decorated in a floral and leaf motive, engine-turned hinged cover centered by a shield, engine-turned back, hinged gold cuvette partially engraved in a floral and leaf pattern with apertures for winding and setting. Guilloche silver with painted radial Roman numerals, subsidiary sunk seconds dial, entirely decorated in a floral and leaf pattern. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. 17''', gilt brass, 15 jewels, ¾ plate, counter poised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Unsigned, case numbered.
