Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1890. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased keyless watch.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets " , polished, a monogram engraved on the cover. Hinged gold cuvette and milled inside bezel. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade " hands. M. 19 "' , nickel plated, unusual "fausses cotes " decoration partly in a sun-burst pattern, gold wheel train, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel helical balance spring with elaborated micrometric index. Diam. 51 mm.
