Very fine 18K gold keyless pocket lever chronometer, Bulletin de Premiere Classe de l'Observatoire National de Besancon, No. 8014, in 1910, was awarded the Gold Medal at the timing contest with a total of 248,2 marks.

C. Three body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back engraved wit a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D.White enamel, with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 18 "' , gilt brass with punch-mark in form of a viper ' s head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 20 jewels, brass-invar Guillaume balance adjusted by Grogg, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Accompanied by copies of the timing certificates. Diam. 51 mm.
