Universal, Geneve, 1950's. Very fine and rare, centre second, self-winding, waterproof, 18K yellow gold and "cloisonne " enamel gentleman's wristwatch.
C. massive, polished, screwed back. D. in polychrome "cloisonne" enamel representing a cockerel in the sunrise, symbol of France, with "guilloche " indexes on a polished ring. "Dauphine" gold hands. M. 12 1/2"' rhodium plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, antishock system, selfcompensating flat balance-spring, rotor a "butoirs". Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm.
