Dunand, London, German or Swiss, made for the English of the Dutch Market, circa 1760. Fine 22K gold pair cased repousse watch in a chagrin covered protecting case.
C. Double body, brass outer chagrin covered, the back centred with a pique work decoration in a star pattern. Second gold double body, repousse with a scene depicting Achille heartrending farewell to Andromaque with further rocaille decoration. h7ner double body bassine, polished. D. Gold champleve with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions. Steel Louis XIV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance flat balance spring, English style gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with a mask and foliage. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 55 mm.
