C. Double body outer (later) with London hallmarks for 1833. Inner bassine, pierced and engraved with a mask and inhabited foliage, the back centred with flowers. Gilt brass dust cap. D. Later white enamel with Roman numerals. Later gold hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, fiat balance spring, English style gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with foliage, diamon endstone. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the back plate and dust cap. Diam. 49 mm.
