Unsigned, French, circa 1890. Fine gilt bronze, eight day going quarter-repeating "Grande and Petite Sonnerie " , carriage clock with alarm, in a travelling box.

C. Gilt bronze, glazed, "Anglaise Riche" with fluted Corinthian columns D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute ring, small subsidiary alarm setting dial. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. Brass, eight-day going with going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, silvered platform with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring. Quarter striking and repeating on gongs with button on the top, Grande and Petite Sonnerie/Silent, optional lever in the base. Alarm on gongs. Dim. 14 x 9,5 x 8 cm., excluding the handle.
