Unsigned, French, No. 1070, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze eight day going, hour and half hour striking, hour repeating carriage clock.

C. Gilt bronze, "bamboo" and Art-Nouveau, glazed four faces and top. D. Egg-shell enamel chapter ring with fancy Arabic numerals. Blued steel "pear " hands. Gilt satine dial plate. M. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, silvered platform with lateral lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring, striking and repeating on gongs with button at the top. Dim. 16 x 10 x 9 cm, excluding the handle.
