Notes

This watch was certainly ordered in Switzerland by an English dealer trading with China. Although obviously made in Switzerland, the movement is fitted with an English style cock and without repeating mechanism as opposed to most of other musical Swiss movements. The style of the dial, without signature but with serial number, can be compared with those of watches made or retailed by Barraud, Cornhill, in London.
