Outer double body, the bezel pierced and engraved with foliage, the back repousse with a scene depicting a courting gentleman presenting flowers an giving a serenade to a young lady; outer repousse and pierced foliage decoration. Inner bassine, marked "A.B.", pierced with inhabited foliage and engraved with a mask, the back centred with a rosette. D. Gold champleve with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring wit arched divisions. Gilt brass Louis XV hands. Silver dust cap. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate the square pillars applied with pierced silver decoration, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, silver English style cock pierced and engraved with floral decoration in a geometrical pattern. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dust-cap and back plate. Diam. 46 mm.
