Invicta, Swiss, circa 1910. Fine and unusual 18K gold and enamel square, quarter repeating, keyless dress-watch.

C. Three body, massive, square, engine-turned, the border chased with foliage decoration, the back with blue enamel champleve lines and chased garlands of foliage. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals on silvered cartouches, outer silvered minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 17"', nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In very good condition. Dim. 50 x 50 mm.
